UK Ancestry Visa

What does this service cover?

The UK Ancestry visa can be applied for by individuals who are Commonwealth, British Overseas, British Overseas Territories and British Nationals citizens as well as citizens of Zimbabwe. To be eligible, you must prove that at least one of your grandparents was born in the UK or was adopted and given a legal right to stay. 

What are the requirements for applying for this these permissions?

To apply, you must be able to prove the following:

  • That you are aged 17 or over as this relates to your ability to work and study within the UK.
  • That you have enough money without help from public funds to support. This also needs to cover the housing and living costs that will be incurred from being in the UK. A job offer is also eligible to be shown at this stage.
  • That you can work in the UK. The UK government want to ensure that as many people as possible who are granted a visa can contribute to the economy and not stretch resources further than they already are.

With an application fee of £351, this visa can only be applied for three months before travel so getting the timing right is essential. Our team will be able to best prepare you so that once your application is submitted, no issues will arise that could delay your decision.
